New NAMI Illinois Program Director – Teri Latter

The Board of Directors of NAMI Illinois is pleased to announce that Teri Latter has accepted the position of Program Director, replacing Holly McCaffrey in that role. Teri brings nine years of experience as a Family-to-Family teacher to the job and is also a Family-to-Family State Trainer. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for NAMI Barrington Area and is the volunteer Family-to-Family Program Director for that affiliate. Prior to her involvement with NAMI, Teri was a Director of Product and Project Management for AT&T.

Teri will begin in this part-time position on Monday, January 7, 2019, when the NAMI Illinois office re-opens after the holidays, and will be reaching out to all affiliates to introduce herself. Her email address will be

Holly will be retiring on December 27, 2018, after a 22-year career with NAMI Illinois, and wants to express her thanks to everyone who made her work with NAMI Illinois so rewarding. We thank Holly for her dedication to the success and growth of NAMI in Illinois and wish her well in the days ahead.
